Estudió en Central Saint Martins en Londres y se licenció en Literatura Italiana en La Sapienza. Ha trabajado con editoriales como Einaudi y Minimum Fax, y es autor de libros como Critica portatile al visual design y Guardare, pensare, progettare. Desde 2012 enseña Psicología de la percepción en el ISIA de Roma.
