BALLE SOLVEJ Solvej Balle es una escritora danesa nacida en 1962 en Bovrup, S nderjylland, Dinamarca. Estudió Literatura y Filosofía en la Universidad de Copenhague y debutó en 1986 con su novela Lyrefugl. Su obra más reconocida es Según la ley 1993 , considerada una de las más destacadas de la literatura danesa contemporánea. A lo largo de su carrera, ha explorado diversos géneros, incluyendo poesía y teoría del arte. En los últimos años, ha trabajado en un ambicioso proyecto literario titulado El volumen del tiempo, una serie de siete volúmenes que le valió el Premio de Literatura del Consejo Nórdico en 2022.
