ERNEST HEMINWAY (1899-1961) Ernest Hemingway was an American novelist and short story writer. He is considered one of the most important writers of the 20th century and one of the most influential in modern literature. Hemingway began his career as a journalist at The Kansas City Star, then moved to Europe to work as a war correspondent during World War I. He is known for his direct and concise writing style, characterized by economy of words and lack of embellishment. Among his most famous works are The Old Man and the Sea, For Whom the Bell Tolls and Farewell to Arms. Hemingway received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1954. Edad recomendada: Adultos.
