RAINA TELGEMEIER American graphic novel author, Raina Telgemeier was born in San Francisco on May 26, 1977. She studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York, a city where she has lived as well as Astoria and San Francisco. His graphic novels have been on The New York Times bestseller lists and have won him awards such as the Eisner. Among his works it is worth highlighting ¡Sonríe! -based on a traumatic experience she lived through when she was a child-, Sisters -autobiographically cut- or Courage. She is also the author of Drama and Ghosts, in addition to having illustrated the graphic novels of The Kangaroo Club series, based on the novels by Ann M. Martin and which were adapted for Netflix.
