VENTURINI AURORA 1921-2015 Novelista, cuentista, poeta, traductora, docente y ensayista argentina. Se graduó en Filosofía y en Ciencias de la Educación en la Universidad Nacional de La Plata y trabajó como asesora en el Instituto de Psicología y Reeducación del Menor, donde conoció a Eva Perón, de quien fue amiga íntima. Tras el golpe de Estado de 1955, se exilió en París. Allí compartió tertulias y noches de bohemia con Violette Leduc, Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Albert Camus, Eugène Ionesco y Juliette Gréco. Escribió más de cuarenta libros. El solitario 1948 , su primer libro de poemas, recibió el premio Iniciación de manos de Jorge Luis Borges. Pero fue recién en 2007, a los 85 años, cuando escribió Las primas y obtuvo el Premio Nueva Novela, otorgado por el diario Página 12, cuando su trabajo salió a la luz. Las primas, novela elogiada por crítica y lectores fue publicada en España por Caballo de Troya, recibió el Premio Otras voces, Otros ámbitos 2009 y ha sido traducida al italiano y al francés.
